No, it's not scrapped. I've just been very busy with full-time work and the next implementation in the game. The next build release might not be for a week or two. Some things will have to be redone/rebuild before that time. The reason for so much effort is because I plan for a long game. Thanks for everyone's interest.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like either will be up by this weekend. The video maker I was using is now corrupted. Anyway, I've posted a LONG message about the game, along with some new screenshots and exciting news about Beta 3.0 I'll post news here as the game development progresses. I mentioned in my NCFC update that Beta 3.0 does have a Level builder in it, but it won't be accessible until it's cleaned up. That would be closer to completion of the game itself. Otherwise it is possible for people to learn the coding technique and build one that way. You'll just hafta wait and see where all this goes.

1) Yeah, that's all the levels I've programed thus far. 2) Mario is more of the adventurer for the game, while Sonic is the daredevil one. Each ones abilities will come into play. 3) Default keys are the arrows and Z,X,C. You can change these in the Option menu. 4) Mario's spin attack can be used to destroy blocks underneath him if Action is pressed during collision. I made this to match with Sonic's downward spindash slam 5) The short levels were mostly do to limiting lag issues. I hope to get that stuff sorted out soon and make some good-n-long levels eventually.
