Brawl for Europe First
From Mario Fan Games Galaxy Wiki
The Brawl for Europe First (BFEF) signature fad was started by Black Squirrel in October 2007 as a response to Super Smash Bros. Brawl's delayed American release date. The idea was to somehow encourage Nintendo to release it in the PAL regions first, since Europeans and Australians usually have to wait months after an American or Japanese release for no real reason other than translation. Europe was not affected by the delay as they had not recieved a release date at all, however many Americans were upset (despite the fact they were due to get it before everyone anyway).
As you can imagine, straight away a "Brawl for America First" (BFAF) banner was made by Glukom/Jeff Silvers, which then lead to more signatures such as "Brawl for Australia first" and "Brawl for Me First" and even a PPP name change. Many of these didn't make sense however, as Japan were already set to get the game before America (so America could not possibly be first).
Unfortunately Japan got the game first on the 31st January 2008.
